6-5-26    THOUGHTS

We contemplate the “COURAGE TO SPEAK” this morning.  Circumstances (Paul’s imprisonment) gave many power in themselves to SPEAK GOD’S WORD!  FEAR was overcome  by something inside them...  Whatever that was, we must want it!  We need to become these people!  Paul became kindling wood to start a fire.  The spreading flame was God’s mind in the minds of men and women.  The need is as much today as it was yesterday!

Php 1:12-14    Now I want you to know, brethren, that my circumstances have turned out for the greater progress of the gospel,  13  so that my imprisonment in the cause of Christ has become well known throughout the whole praetorian guard and to everyone else,  14  and that most of the brethren, trusting in the Lord because of my imprisonment,
have far more courage to speak the word of God without fear.

Our Prayer:
We praise the wonderful name of Jehovah God.  Thank You for endless loving kindnesses. We are most grateful for Your grace in Christ Jesus.  Having the Good News, may we speak with greater passion about our Savior.  Embolden us and give us power within, O God.  We pray for courage to speak Your Word without fear.  May love and humility abound in us.   In the name of our Lord,   Amen.
